Alexander Rybak

the winner of Eurovision Song Contest 2009 has been completly slaughtered by jury members in Norwegian Idol. What does it say about Idol competition? Well, this is only an entertainment TV programme. But, young talents, remember it is an excellent way to get famous, whether you have talent or not.

I wonder what kind of approach the Swedish Jury: Anders Bagge, Laila Bagge and Andreas Carlsson will have this year. I read in an intervju with Laila 2008-02-27 in DN:

-Jag lyssnar som sagt på nya förmågor dagligen och krävs det att jag ska vara hård så är jag hård. Men jag skulle aldrig vara riktigt elak eller förnedra någon, säger Laila Bagge.

In english, free translation: I kan be tuff but I could never be mean or humiliate someone.

I hope she will live up to this reputation.

Thoughts day after

The Eurovision Song Contest in Moskau has costs about 300 mln swedish crowns. If we spend 36000 SEK per year and per one homeless child then this ammount would give 8333 children, home and accommodation for one year. The choice would be easy if I was in charge.

I am not against music events, I love it, but I think that we have lost our focus and feeling for what is important in our lives.

According to Oprah, there is over 100 million homeless children in this World.

Something to thing about!

Eurovision Song Contest

Sorry Malena and congratulations Alexnder! My first choice was Azerbadjan but I am happy with place no 3. It was really good festival with many well writen songs and amazing performences. And what a show! And what a costs! My thouths go to homeless children all over the world.
